The mitochondria repair IV drip is targeted to repair the components of our cells that produce energy, to relieve tiredness and fatigue at a cellular level. The antioxidants it contains also help to reduce toxic load in the body, which is known to contribute to fatigue.

We refer to mitochondria as the ‘powerhouse’ of cells because the mitochondria is the energy source for our cells – it is where energy is made. In the mitochondria, food we eat gets converted into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is what gives our cells the energy to power the body.
ATP cannot be stored, so the body needs to make it all the time. If energy production is affected at all, this can manifest in feeling tired all the time, weakness, fatigue, and even brain fog.
There are many reasons mitochondria may be damaged or dysfunctional, including: ageing, alcohol, antibiotics and medications, metabolic stress, heavy metals, oxidative damage, and mitochondrial disease. Mitochondrial dysfunction is associated with numerous chronic diseases.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA): ALA is an antioxidant that works to neutralise harmful free radicals that cause oxidative stress. It has the unique ability to regenerate itself alongside other antioxidants such as vitamin C, glutathione, CoQ10 and Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD). Research shows that ALA can contribute to increased ATP production.
B complex: B vitamins support mitochondrial function. B12 in particular is essential for DNA synthesis and energy production at a cellular level. It plays a crucial role in the creation of new red blood cells and helps to convert food into energy. The food we eat is converted into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is what gives cells energy to power the body – and B12 helps the cells metabolise and make ATP. A B12 deficiency can lead to anaemia, a condition caused by low red blood cell levels that creates weakness, tiredness and a lack of energy. In short, Vitamin B12 is vital for energy production.
Niacin (B3) is also an essential cofactor for cellular energy and aids the conversion of food into energy.
CoEnzyme blend: Plays an essential role in converting food into energy by stimulating the mitochondria. This speeds up production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) for cellular energy production and can help us feel like we have more energy. A deficiency means less production of ATP and increased oxidative damage. These important antioxidants decreases with age.
Vitamin C: This antioxidant is an effective scavenger of free radicals that prevents mitochondrial oxidant formation and mitochondrial ageing. It helps maintain healthy mitochondria by protecting against oxidative stress (which can contribute to fatigue). Our cells need vitamin C as it also plays a big role in production of energy. It helps transport fatty acids needed for metabolic energy production via a process called beta-oxidation. Vitamin C is also needed for iron absorption (a deficiency of iron can lead to anaemia and tiredness).
