Vitamin C: This is an antioxidant that we cannot produce ourselves – we need it in our diet daily. Our cells require vitamin C as it plays a big role in the production of energy. This essential nutrient helps transport fatty acids needed for metabolic energy production via a process called beta-oxidation. Vitamin C is also required for iron absorption, and it helps protect the cells from free-radicals and oxidative stress, which can contribute to fatigue.
B complex: These vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12) are crucial at a cellular level and are great for helping restore energy, maintaining cardiovascular health and the function of the nervous system. They aid in the body in getting and releasing energy. Without B vitamins, you will feel tired.
